Hiroyuki Kusuda

Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1964.
After graduating from College in Japan, Kusuda worked for Fujitsu, then the Consulate General of Japan in Sydney. Kusuda studied Oenology and Viticulture at Geisenheim University in Germany. Apprenticeships; Weingut Troitzsch, Rheingau, Germany (1996, 1997), Nicholson River, Victoria, Australia (1997), Domaine Lejeune, Bourgogne, France (1999). Immigrated to New Zealand (2001) soon after graduating from Geisenheim and now lives in Martinborough with wife his Reiko, son Kensuke and daughter Yuria
